NEW: 9kHz frequency extension (Option 900)
The Option 900 extends the effective frequency range to 9kHz - 9.4GHz, a bandwidth which could previously only offer considerably more expensive spectrum analyzers.

Our latest V4 generation offer a vastly enhanced feature set with significantly faster sample time, more dynamic range, better IP3, reduced phase noise, greater demodulation bandwidth and improved LCD display compared to the previous V3 series. Real-time Spectrum analyzer software (included for FREE):
All SPECTRAN units offer a USB interface with real-time remote control to your PC or MAC. The free analyzer software, which is available for MAC OS, Linux and Windows, transforms any SPECTRAN into a powerful measurement solution with great features (e.g. recording, multiple window display, histogram, waterfall diagram, unlimited number of markers, enhanced limits display etc.). Limits display:
All SPECTRAN units offer a powerful limits display. Just push the limits button at our Spectrum Analyzer and the high-performance Digital Signal Processor (DSP) of the SPECTRAN constantly calculates the limits and displays the results in real-time. Spectrum analyzers with this high-end feature usually cost thousands of Euro. Just save this cost by using Aaronia analyzers.

EMC antenna included:
The shipment of each SPECTRAN already includes a free EMC directional antenna which covers a wide frequency range. In addition Aaronia provides a lot of optional antennas especially for pre compliance and EMC/EMI tests. Those offer a much higher frequency range and more gain (especially in the frequency range below 700MHz). More details about our antennas can be found at Aaronia antenna.

Options:
All SPECTRAN units can be equipped with various options which highly expand the functionality. More details about possible options for this SPECTRAN are available at above section "Options".

Options
Option 900 (9kHz frequency extension)
Extends the start frequency to 9 kHz. The new, usable frequency range with Option 900 is 9kHz - 9.4 GHz. Perfect for the measurement of conducted emissions according to interference standards such as EN55015, EN61800-3 etc.

Option 001 (1MB Memory Expansion)
This memory expansion is a MUST-HAVE particularly when using the data logger, as the standard capacity can quickly become exhausted in this mode. The memory expansion provides space for more than 10 000 logs, while the standard memory will only last for approximately 100 of them.
Standard memory size is 64K.

Option 002 (0,5ppm TCXO Time Base)
This highly precise TCXO timebase, which has been especially developed for the SPECTRAN, offers significantly reduced phase noise (jitter). It will allow the use of the far narrower filters (down to 200Hz), which will in turn vastly enhance sensitivity. To fully exploit the maximum sensitivity of the HF-60100 V4, this option is indispensable! Furthermore, the TXCO timebase allows far more accurate frequency measurement and display and is therefore a MUST-HAVE for future applications like time-domain measurements or code-selective measurement of UMTS, all already in development.
The standard accuracy without option 002 is 50ppm.

Option 020 (15dB Low Noise Internal Preamplifier)
This option provides an internal, super low-noise 15dB preamplifier, enabling maximum performance particularly when measuring extremely weak signals. It is switched via a TRUE RF switch. There really is no excuse for not ordering this one, considering its very attractive price. The maximum sensitivity of the V4 series without option 020 is lower by 15dB.


Option UBBV1, 40dB Low Noise External Broadband Preamplifier (1MHz-1GHz)
These external super low-noise preamplifiers have a broad frequency range and high 40dB gain, enabling maximum performance particularly when measuring extremely weak signals at EN55011, EN55022 or EN50371 EMC-test. If you use our BicoLOG antennas or our PBS1 Near Field Probe Set and EMC-Sniffer these broadband amplifiers are a MUST HAVE to get the best performance.

Option UBBV2, 40dB Low Noise External Broadband Preamplifier (1MHz-10GHz)
These external super low-noise preamplifiers have a broad frequency range and high 40dB gain, enabling maximum performance particularly when measuring extremely weak signals at a EN55011, EN55022 or EN50371 EMC-test. If you use our BicoLOG antennas or our PBS1 Near Field Probe Set and EMC-Sniffer these broadband amplifiers are a MUST HAVE to get the best performance.

Option 205 (10GHz Broadband Peak Power Meter for HF-60100 V4 (X))
This option expands your SPECTRAN with a Peak Power Meter with full 10GHz of bandwidth. Furthermore it allows exact measurement of signals with high crest factor like those of WLAN technology, and even extremely short signals, like Radar bursts. What's more, measurement is performed in real-time and broadband, while at the same time being temperature-compensated. It is also an perfect solution for measurement of cable attenuation or receiver output. Depending on the actual frequency, the Power Meter provides a sensitivity of up to approx. -50dBm, while the maximum usable level is +10dBm. By adding our 20dB attenuator (see price list), the maximum measurable signal level can be enhanced to +30dBm.


Option 015 - Bug Sniffer (Audio Signal Tracker)
The Option 015 provides an acoustic representation of the signal intensity, similar to a Geiger counter. This allows a fast and convenient localization of the signal sources. Perfectly suitable for signal direction finding, finding hidden transmitters or aligning antennas, especially in combination with the Peak Power Meter (Option 20 X).As a highlight, the dynamic can be adapted optimally by moving the reference level.
